Is there anything more compelling than a sexy villain? Doubtful. I recently saw “Batman Begins” and determined immediately that Cillian Murphy’s performance as Scarecrow was a sexy villain for the ages. Thus inspired, I contrived to determine my top 30 hot movie villains. Mad props to the four gentlemen who made the list more than once. Some guys just have a knack for being bad (Messrs. Yes, he totally did! And the thing is, Christopher Plummer just has a sort of sinister, sexual aspect which definitely (and ironically) came through in that role. My daughters think he's hot too, so that just confirms there's something there all right.
Glad to see Hayden or (Denakin) as my friends and I have come to refer to Hayden and Anakin (combining the best of both worlds) made your list of sexiest villains. As a little girl I didn't realize how hot Vader had once been, but now, yeah...totally obessessed with the dark lord. Thanks for including him on your list. Your blog is always fun to read and your subjects interesting. Thanks for sharing it with all of us, and for often saying such nice things about Hayden.

Thank you, Erica! No such list could be complete without Denakin, that's for sure. And I'm glad you're enjoying the blog!
Lo-Pan - from Big Trouble in Little China!!
Darkness from Legend
The Great Tyrant (female) from Barbarella
The Hessian from Sleepy Hollow
Prince Nuada from Hellboy2
Top Dollar from the Crow
The Uber-Morlock from The Time Machine
...
:) Im a villain addict.
Excellent list, Zyphryus--I can see you are a bit of an expert on this topic all right! I had forgotten about Darkness and the Uber-Morlock...both fabulous choices.
my friends and i have developed a villain list...and i'm so pleased that it is almost identical to yours...we LOVE Alan and Jason!
Alan Rickman...ooooh yeah, can't beat that voice..mmmmmm and I'm 20 years old. I don't care. haha!
K of C, some charms just transcend age... :-)
Definitely Captain Von Trapp, it never really hit me till now but he does have something about him! Have to add Sabretooth from X-Men Origins, Liev Shreiber has got some serius sexiness going on there, and Tim Curry in Rocky Horror Picture show, net-stockings and all!
Funny you should bring up Liev, Yeah...just watched that movie last night. I love him in anything. And Frank N. Furter for sure!
The fact that Alan Rickman's roles made your list three times is completely appreciable.
