Please Tell Me Why I Love Ben Linus

Even if you don't watch "Lost," I'm sure you've had the experience of being drawn to some character you can clearly see is not supposed to be sexy. Or even likeable. For some reason, when this happens it's more thrilling than when you lust after someone who is supposed to be hot.

Cue Michael Emerson as Benjamin Linus.

Ben is the uber-villain of the show, and believe me, he's not one of those Alan Rickman-Jason Isaacs-Cillian Murphy kinds of villains. He's puny, has bug eyes and weird hair. He gets captured and beat up by the good guys all the time. He has no hot girlfriend at his side at the poker table, no posse of hangers-on, no fast car or ritzy mansion. He does rule the Island, though...mostly by ruthless cunning, remorseless violence, and superior intelligence. And at one time or another he has hurt, deceived, betrayed, or made of fool of every guy (and many women) in this creepy little paradise.

And he lies all the freakin' time.

But something about this man has won me over. His backstory episode helped: He was emotionally abused by his rotten father as a child, in a most pathetic and tear-jerking way. And he does have his vulnerabilities: just this past week our suspicions of his devotion to Juliet were confirmed. It was classic Ben Linus all right: now you like him, now you don't. In the scene where he makes her dinner, all excited like a schoolboy with a crush, he was so endearing...and so doomed, for meanwhile Juliet was having an affair with Goodwin. But wait a half hour (in TV time) and he's just murdered Goodwin and informed Juliet "You're MINE."

Now please tell me why this declaration by the murderous, weasley little Ben Linus sent me off to bed, imagining that I were on the Island trying to comfort him and win his heart away from Juliet? Well, that's what I did! I would have decided I was really insane were it not for the fact that the next morning my daughter Katie, who composes and distributes a weekly "LostCap" newsletter, included in her report a declaration of her own Bensanity.

This encouraged me enough to admit my problem in this blog. I am fascinated by Ben Linus. I love (as he put it this past week) that he always has a plan. I love that he lies, and I always believe this time he might telling the truth; in other words, I love that he can fool me. I love how devious he is, how unfailingly clever, and most of all how he only loses his cool when he loves somebody.

And as much as I've come to like his crazy hair, his buggy eyes, his face trashed by whatever latest round of pissed-off beatings he's received, I can tell you there is one thing about him that is truly beautiful: his voice. Michael Emerson has one of those velvet voices that forces you to listen. There's some fascinating quirk to his accent and/or diction that I can't quite place but could listen to for hours.

I guess in the final analysis, this is just one of those rare characters so intriguing, so strong, and so marvelously brought to life by a brilliant actor, you just can't help reacting to him. My husband just loathes the guy, probably more than any TV character I can recall. Some of my daughters' friends thinks he's horrible and icky. But I bet there are other Bensane women out there wondering why the heck they are lying awake at night picturing themselves washing Benjamin Linus's wounds and eating up his lies like candy.

Yep, here you have the handsome heroic Jack, the hot (former) bad boy Sawyer, the model-perfect Jin, the dreamy Desmond, the geekily gorgeous Daniel, and I'm writing a blog post on Ben. Just goes to show you, there are two words that best describe what turns women on: Go figure.

UPDATE - Dec. 14, 2008

I just had to share this photo, sent to me by Ben Linus fan Jennifer.

She was not wrong when she claimed it was one of the hottest photos of him ever, and I would faint. Brace yourselves...

The key, as Jennifer pointed out to me, is to view the photo in full size. To do so, please click here.

Thanks for giving me goosebumps, Jennifer!

wow, I completely agree, i love ben too and this last episode made me even more intrigued and aroused by the idea of him. I also thought his "You're MINE" line was incredibly sexy in a way that I know shouldn't be... creepy, but hot. Seemed a bit D/s ish even, which completely fits his charachter, the dominate control freak.

Anonymous said...

Wow, sister, you hit the nail on the head with that one. The "You're MINE" scene was sooooo hot. And we all know we shouldn't like him, but we do. After that episode, after that scene which I think I replayed around 20 times XD), I realized that Benjamin Linus is THE hottest. There is no other. So I declare my Bensanity with you. ;)

PS - your daughter has good taste, but keep an eye on her boyfriends LOL.

Diana Laurence said...

Holy cow, this is the first time I've gotten two comments the same night I posted! Maybe the Bensane are a lot more common than I realized!

Anonymous #1, that was right on...in one scene Ben was so sweet but in the other truly D/s. It's a pretty potent combination.

Anonymous #2, 20 times, I love it! I wonder if Michael Emerson had any idea this would happen with female viewers. LOL And not to worry...Katie's boyfriend is not Ben-ish at all. :-)

Hahahaha!! THIS IS AWESOME!!!!! One of your best blogs ever! I gotta send it to Monica and she'll just crack up about it and roll her eyes ;) I'm glad we're not alone though! It's so weird, but hey, we just can't deny it! In other news I was listening to Ben's voice in my head (ok that sounds worse than it is), and I realized that his tone/diction/timbre whatever you call it is very reminiscent of Richard O'Brien! I mean obviously not the same, but there's something about the two that strikes a similar chord...pun intended?

Diana Laurence said...

Glad you enjoyed it, Katesi--and sorry, Monica, what can we say? Anyway, you're right on the Richard O'Brien remark on some level. He's another great example of the "why the h-- do I want this guy so bad? phenomonon!

Amanda said...

Yesss! This is awesome! I almost feel like *I* wrote it. Now I don't have as strong of feelings for Ben (those are reserved, as you know, for Daniel) but you totally hit the nail on the head when it comes to the awesomeness of his character. Half the time I don't know how I feel about him. I'm oddly drawn one second and then fuming with anger the next. But that's what makes him so flucking fantastic! Every week I look forward to seeing what he's going to do and how he'll behave. And yes, the voice is like butter ;-)

Diana Laurence said...

The voice, the voice! I wonder if he's ever done an audio book. I never buy audio books, but I'd pay good cash money for that voice saying ANYTHING. (Especially "You're MINE." LOL)

Anonymous said...

Of course he has audio books! Several. Here is a link to one:

About his sexiness, you summed it up very well.

Me, I am 28 married, teacher at Uni, not insane, not unsocial but I catch myself fantasizing about Ben at night. In my case there are rather masochistic feelings in question because Ben is exactly my type of dominant male, not muscled, not handsome, not a bad-ass just outrageously intelligent and cunning.

I am so crazy about him that I even made a video about my fantasies:

http://youtube.com/watch?v=uR_7g10G2O4

I like the other articles on your blog too, keep on keeping on:)

Diana Laurence said...

Maggaya, great job on the video...that had to have taken some work! But I'm sure it was totally a labor of lust, er, love. :-) I will be checking out those audio books next. Thanks so much for posting, keep the faith. 45 minutes till Lost as I post this...yay.

Miss Organizized said...

CRAZIEST SITUATION OF ALL TIME:

I decided to listen to the links Maggaya posted of the "Murder Mysteries" story Michael Emerson narrated. I can't STOP listening now! Very intriguing!!

Well MEANWHILE, I'm reading up on Michael on wiki, and I stumble upon this...........!

"Narrator of a radio play adaptation of the Neil Gaiman short story, Murder Mysteries."

!!!! DID YOU REALIZE THIS?!??!?

Diana Laurence said...

I did NOT realize it, and I am completely blown away. This is synchronicity on steroids. Okay, Kismet, I am reading you loud and clear and I am sticking to my Neil Gaiman thing and riding this out!!!

Hi!
I'm from Spain and my English isn't very well... but I have read your post and I'm completely agree with you.

I love Ben, but I don't understand why!! Maybe there is the sex-appeal of the power.

I want to remind two moments (my favourite moments):
1- When he appears as the leader of the others (It was the first time I noticed him)
2- The "YOU ARE MINE" moment. Just... terribly sexy...

And the voice... I need subtitles, because I don't undertand him very well. But it doesn't matter!! I would heard him hours and hours!! :D

Excuses for my english!!

Best Regards from Madrid (Spain)

Laura.

Diana Laurence said...

Laura, your English is beautiful!!! :-) I too wish you could have subtitles of Ben, but see, you are living proof that his sexiness comes through in any language. Thanks for posting, I love to hear from folks in faraway lands. LOL

Anonymous said...

Believe me, there are many women who feel exactly the same about Ben! There is a certain appeal to him that I believe rests in the things you said about him. :)

Personally, Sayid always had my attention and then, to my surprise, I also fell for one of the newcomers - Frank. I adore him!

Diana Laurence said...

Right on, Jess...Sayid was my first favorite, then Sawyer, then Ben superceded everyone. But I like Daniel a lot nowadays too. The show just has so many compelling characters, I'm sure there's someone out there attracted to each of them!

Anonymous said...

Oh my God! I'm not alone! I mastrubate to that guy all the freakin time! Great blog. Keep up the good work! :)

Diana Laurence said...

Charlene, that's cutting to the chase! LOL!! Thanks for the compiment. :-)

Renée Hand said...

When my last boyfriend and I were dating, I got him hooked on LOST; he watched all four seasons from the beginning. We would often watch the episodes together, and I had forgotten when this whole thing started what a thrilling experience it is to watch Ben on screen. It was quite difficult containing my glee at every onscreen minute of this man's ultimate sexiness.

Since then we've parted ways, which means that I can go back to grinning and swooning every time he opens his mouth! BEN IS A SEX GOD!

Diana Laurence said...

Let it out, Renee, let the adoration out! :-)

Anonymous said...

OMG Bensanity is the right word. I really fell in love with this man. I never thought that this would happen. But it did! I know what it is like to stay awake at night and imagine yourself on the island with Ben - alone. huh....hot!!!!

Diana Laurence said...

Welcome to the realm of the Bensane, Anonymous!

Anonymous said...

I thought I was one of the only ones. I have no idea what it is but he's 100 times more INTERESTING than the other characters.

Sure, Sawyer's amazing with the hottest body ever but give me Ben's back history any day over Sawyer's.

And I can make an excuse for any horrible thing he does ^_^

Diana Laurence said...

Oh man, anonymous, you are FAR from alone! And yes...I too am willing to excuse just about anything. Sigh...

Anonymous said...

I love this blog! I just typed into google "weird crush on benjamin linus" and your post completely describes where I am right now. I love that I'm not the only one - he's definitely got something. Somewhere during series 4 my crush on Ben developed and I'm totally hooked now, one of those cases where someone starts off as appearing repellent and that repellence slowly turns into a seductive quality. In series 5 he's looking less battered and is a bit more sympathetic - I hope that he doesn't become too sympathetic a character - part of the attraction is the mystery and distance of his character. There's so much pleasure to be derived from lusting after someone who is bad - I relish the evilness!
That voice (!!) I nearly died when I watched an interview and realised that the voice is Michael Emerson's and not just an aspect of his character. I also think that he stands out as so different to the rest of the more conventionally sexy cast. I think listening him in the audio books would make me explode!

Hel

Diana Laurence said...

Hi Hel, and glad you found me! As you can see, you are far from alone. You hit the nail on the head: there's nothing like being won over by someone initially repellant. Whew. And I know, the voice? Fabulous. I bet no one was more surprised than Michael when he ended up the most popular "sexy" character on a show populated by conventional hotties. It's a tribute to him!

So weird, but so prevalent! Thanks for the URL to the video, Robin, it really is great.

I found this post by googling "Crush on Benjamin Linus," and I'm glad i did. I've been feeling incredibly weird this recent season when I realized I'd had a crush on Ben ever since "The Other Woman" last year. Things like "I have to say goodbye to my daughter," just didn't make it any better, and now I just can't help myself. The fact that he just killed Locke right after talking him down from suicide should make me feel differently, but. . .despite feeling bad for Locke in that episode, I found Ben killing him to be weirdly satisfying. The worst part? I'm only eighteen, and Michael Emerson is barely younger than my father, though at least Ben himself is only about 40 or so. Yeah. That's much better.

Diana Laurence said...

Ryani, I've found that age is no object when it comes to these things. And it's endlessly fascinating to me the broad array of women drawn to this man and this character! It's really quite wonderful. Anyway, as you can see, you are not alone (not among 18 year olds either I'm sure!).

Anonymous said...

I just adore him, too.
I wrote to Michael Emerson to have an autograph, and I never did something like that with any other actor before. I thought it was a silly fangirlish acting - before I saw Ben. His voice, his eyes, his twisted mind... Just hot!

I know he's not supposed to be hot. But he is - damn, he really is: ask the 800+ members of the Michael Emerson Fan Board (which I am into), if you're not convinced! Join it, if you want to have an access to the Benjiverse, a world full of women drooling over him - and to the largest Ben Linus' photogallery available on the web! XD

Diana Laurence said...

Thanks for the info, Anonymous. I'm sure there will be some visitors to this post in future who will be happy to join you guys! And it's definitely a sign of a guy's "effectiveness" if he can turn normally sensible, mature women into fangirls. LOL

Michele Loves Ben said...

It's good to see I am not the only girl who loves Ben. I find alot of people who absolutely hate his character. I find him arousing because he is always calm, and collected. He has a brilliant mind, and that is what is so attractive. He had me at "You guys got any milk?" After that I knew I was going to like Ben.

On one side, I would sit for hours under a palm tree listening to his voice as he reads me poetry and makes love to my mind. Ahhh...Ben. The other side would love to get rough with him because I think he would be a very passionate man. I don't see him in an SM outfit, but I do see him getting dominate ("...You're going to start behaving now..." and "You're MINE")while pinning me down. (is it getting hot in here or is it me???)

I came across this web page after putting in "I love ben linus" in google search because I wanted to see if any others had this same obsession with Ben. I am glad there are others with me!

BTW - that photo of Ben standing in the door is sooo hot, I saved it as my desktop. Doesn't it just have that "come inside and let me make love to you". teehee. I feel like a school girl and I am only 32!

Its funny, because I don't go for the hot men, like jack and sawyer, I go for the intelligent one.
I go for the one that people hate. I go for Ben Linus.

Diana Laurence said...

So, so beautifully put, Michelle! I couldn't have illustrated this lovely subject better myself. Your little fantasies are exactly the sort of thing this character inspires, and does so so very well. Sigh...

I must interject too that my husband (a through-and-through good guy) HATES Ben and always has. He just doesn't get this about me...but, fortunately, puts up with it cheerfully! LOL

Michele Loves Ben said...

BTW..if you are interested, I came across similar pictures of that hot Ben picture you have...you can buy a large poster on eBay. I was just looking for a Ben Linus action figure and saw that poster. I am not going to buy it, but I thought I'd share if there are any other Ben Linus Lovers out there!

Benaholic from Spain, thanks for the link! I didn't realize how often Ben smiled. And it's fascinating to see Michael Emerson himself smile...and see how he looks different than Mr. Linus. Acting is certainly a fascinating thing...

Just had to stop by and show this post some serious love. I'm with you, ma'am: Ben totally got me, too. His voice is utterly exquisite.

Of course, since this comment is really late, you must have already seen the season finale. Wasn't it heartbreaking for poor Ben? I still adore him, though, even if his characterization has shifted a bit. He'll get his manipulative, cryptic nature back, hopefully!

Love from Texas

Diana Laurence said...

Hi Texas anonymous, thanks for the love! I did see the finale of course--and am dying to know what will happen with Ben next season, as indeed he has taken a new place in the show's dynamic lately. I also just saw Michael Emerson on the Ace of Cakes ep where Duff & Co. make the Lost cake. I tell you, the man just has a presence. Wonderful.

Diana Laurence said...

I can only speak for myself, Jess, and don't know how unlightening that will be...I'm 52 (so nice to be attracted to a guy who's older than that for once!), married, fiscally conservative but socially liberal. I don't have mild daddy issues but I most certainly have always been drawn to authoritative, paternalistic types like Ben...so that may be a key!

Dasha Dinze said...

Hello there!
I hope it's not too late to continue commenting this wonderful post about our DIVINE Ben character??

You know what amazes me most in international bensanity? (and it is WAAAY international, I'm from Russia, for example)
I'm really amazed how every woman who falls for Ben still feels it unusual!!

Let's analyse the whole cast and be honest: who's the REAL master on the show? Jack is too troubled and hysterical to be a leader. Sawyer is a handsome macho, but too transparent and simple for demanding taste. Sayid is there as well. Locke is good but too busy fighting his own demons.
And what do we have as a result? All these macho guys (and every other human being) are - as you precisely noticed - driven by Ben, manipulated by Ben, played by Ben just like chess pieces!

So here comes the answer to your top question: you love Ben Linus (and LOADS of other smart women do) because he's simply the best male character ever on LOST. He has the hottest mind and power - isn't it already enough to succumb?

As to legions of Benfans, like my close friend said: "lots of women have eyes, you know"

:-)
Dasha from Russia

Diana Laurence said...

Wow, Dasha, a fan all the way from Russia! Very cool. And all your points are well taken. I love a number of the male characters on the show, but Ben is really a standout.

Anonymous said...

This is great! :) I googled "ben linus sex" lol.

Totally agree with everything everyone said. I have never had such a strong obsession with a man before, either in real life or on TV! (and I'm married! Is that bad? lol) I've never posted a comment about an actor before either like this. Saying I "have the hots" for him is definitely a major understatement.

Here are 2 more links I didn't see anyone put up yet - I also love that Fantasies one the author posted.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NK4OPXTqHHU&feature=related (to Evanescence song Bring Me to Life, will turn you on!)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8yMfPRX_Z0E&feature=related (You're mine clip)

I've been fantasizing about him constantly the last 2 days... usually dominating me and beating me up and having rough sex, whew...

Why are we obsessed? Because most of all, we like men with POWER. He's both mentally and physically powerful, but doesn't act all macho. (love that scene where he beats up Sawyer like a rag doll) He also notices everything about everyone, which is attractive since so many men are just oblivious to everything. He's the dominate male, and our ancient mating instincts tell us to mate with him and ignore the others. And, where else have you ever seen a powerful dominate male who can give you your dominating sexual fantasies, and yet will cook dinner for you with a nice table setting??

Okay, I'm going back to my fantasies now...

Diana Laurence said...

Anonymous, you DO have a way with words! LOL But seriously, you nailed it. I take no umbrage at your comments about the roughness either--I think even women who normally don't fantasize that way may find themselves "comfortable" letting Ben play that role. Maybe because he's not physically or emotionally threatening--he's intellectually threatening. Not your typical dominant male at all. Anyway, it sure works.

Anonymous said...

I'm so glad that there are others out there that have the same feelings toward Ben. I really don't give a tinkers damn that he's so much older than I am...there's just something so mysterious, intriguing and downright sexy about him that completely superceeds age or the fact that he's not what most people would label as "conventionally hot". I've never been the type to get hot over the traditionally sexy hunk that everyone else drools over. Ben's intelligence is a big factor that draws me to him. His looks are secondary, but not by much. To me he is hot (extremely smoking...like forest fire HOT). I'll tell you what completely melts me, sets me aflame and soaks my panties about him...#1 his mouth and the dead sexy quirk of his lips when he smirks. #2 the slight stubble that he sometimes has on his face. #3 his amazing "make me soak my knickers" voice. #4 his penetrating (don't i wish!) gaze. And those are just the physical things I like about him, not to mention his whole personality - I can't help it I just want to be dominated by him. Pretty much everything about his body makes me wanna take off every article of his clothes (and mine). So yeah....I think this website is the right place for me to be :)

Diana Laurence said...

Holy carp, Anonymous, that was INTENSE! You have a way with words, my dear! And you did a bang-up job of explaining the many charms of our Ben (and Michael). I'm going to have to excuse myself and take a shower now... :-)

Anonymous said...

Thank you for your reply Diana, I appreciate it. I love this blog and thank you for creating it. I feel like this is a safe place for me to talk about my obsession. I'm 28 and very happily married, but I can't seem to stop myself from wanting to devour Michael/Ben every time I see him on screen (god I wish it were in person). I know I've already mentioned his amazing voice, but I'll say it again - that man could make me have an off the charts "O" just by uttering a few syllables. Hell, he could read me the damn phone book and it would send me to the moon. And can I just mention his chest hair for moment? Now I've never been the type of woman to really like chest hair all that much but for some reason just the little peek we sometimes get of his is enough to make me salivate. I think I mentioned this briefly in my earlier post but stubble REALLY turns me on and I believe there are several episodes where he has some and it KILLS me. I just want to run my fingers over it and feel it scrape across my face when he kisses me. I had a very erotic dream the other night. It's kinda funny because it didn't end with him making love to me as I would have wished...but nonetheless it was still steamy enough to make me hot even now just thinking about it. He was standing slightly behind me with his mouth scant centimeters from my ear whispering something devilishly naughty about what he wanted to do to me. *Of course I can't remember exactly what he said. All good dreams seem to fade fast don't you know!* Then before I could reply he spun me around forcefully and captured my lips with his own and ran his slick tongue over the edge of my bottom lip and entered my mouth like I was wanting him to enter me elsewhere. Thats about where it ended, or so I think. Like I said...can't remember much else (damn it!). Lol, well theres my latest bensanity moment for all to read.

Diana Laurence said...

I imagine a lot of the posters on this page (most of which are happily married, may I add) really envy you that dream, my dear!

Hello its me again, although I'm no longer "anonymous" :)

Just wanted to share this video clip from youtube. Its an ABC commercial which includes michael in it...just incase all you bensaniacs out there haven't already seen it (yeah right!). Pay attention to when he says "say something funny". HOLY MARY MOTHER OF GOD - I think I have watched this clip about 40 times so far. I cannot get over his voice. I'm mezmerized by it. Its like...I don't know, I'm at a loss for words. I've never heard anything in my life that makes me react the way his voice does.

Check it out:

April said...

lol, and I meant "mesmerized". Yes I can actually spell ;) my brain isn't functioning correctly, probably due to all my brain power draining to lower regions of my body after hearing michael's voice. See, men aren't the only ones that think with their genitals (haha).

Diana Laurence said...

Thanks so much for posting that, April! I saw the spot this past week and reacted the same as you did. It's just another perfect example of the "unintended consequences" every time Michael opens his mouth when in character as Ben. Absolutely fascinating.

Alessandra said...

The way he smiles, the way he moves, the look in his eyes, the sound of his voice...Emerson is so HOT it hurts. And it hurts so good...

WOW, I thought I was totally alone with these odd feelings. I went to google and typed in Ben Linus is so sexy and found this page.

This is the first time I have watched lost and whenever Ben is on I lose my concentration and develop a hot flush. Wow, this guy is absolutely divine.

I would love him to say "Nikki, you are MINE" :)

John Locke is a close second. What does all this say about me?

I don't know you, so maybe this is weird to comment on your blog. BUT I LOVE BEN. Ben is fantastically alluring :) I ALWAYS believe him, no matter what my friends say... and you know what? I also love Locke :) But only as Fake Locke, with his new evilness and confidence
Locke and Ben ;)

I have never EVER seriously crushed or actually wanted to see a celebrity in person before discovering Michael Emerson. In the past, the very idea of even approaching a celebrity for an autograph seemed really stupid.

Now--Oh my God. (???!!!)

Current fantasy: meeting him while vacationing in Cinque Terre (gorgeous place), and him incredibly agreeing to have a glass of red with me on a balcony overlooking the sea. We talk about our favorite poets--and again, incredibly, he's familiar with Anne Sexton, my favorite--he reads me some of her poetry and I melt on the spot into my chair.
Then we get out of the sun and he asks me to go back to his villa--where we drink more red and listen to radiohead. I'm closing my eyes, into the music, when I feel his mouth on my ear, whispering more Anne Sexton--then he tells me what he is going to do to me.

Um, the rest is a work in progress. I restructure it depending on the day. :)

What the hell?! I feel ridiculous!!

Anonymous, I'm not commenting too much these days over here (I'm on my new blog at www.dianalaurence.blogspot.com), but I just had to say, what a cute story! I totally get your feelings. And VERY nice fantasy I might add!

Hey everyone, my names Jess and ive been watching alot of lost lately. First i started with a crush on boone (ian somerhalder) which is understandable he was even a model. But than Ben came into it all and i found myself liking him more and more each episode. Ive got heaps of pics of him and i always fantise about him. Even though i like it i still think its gross cause hes like the age of my grandpa. And im only 17 ><

Bensane indeed! I don't get it either, he's the creepy, weird guy you knew in high school that would pull the wings off of flies in bio class.
What sickness we have to desire him.

Just found out in the comments that there is an audiobook narrated by Emerson, but the links to the files don't work :( need help. I'm just as crazy about his voice as you are...

Just watching Lost from the beginning. Found myself thinking about Ben and wanted to check I wasn't crazy. Googled "why do I like Benjamin Linus" and this was the first result. Thank god I'm not alone!

Emerson totally blew me over with his " You're MINE", and since then the only person I look at is Ben. He is the only one I can see, he is the only one I think of all the day!! There something about him that makes him so damn SEXY, coz he doesn't have the conventional good looks or anything, but there is SOMETHING. And his VOICE!! I fantasize him, telling me "You're MINE"!! And I'm just 20!!

yeah, he´s really hot!!! but we all know: it´s the character he´s playing that makes him so sexy, the doniating one who is a leader - and of course his eyes!

Now it's October 2015 and I'm watching Lost for the fourth time, having drawn my family in one by one. And yeah, me too. Because he's Benjamin Linus!

I had never seen this blog, even though I watched Lost when it aired and always found Ben the sexiest one by far! My God... The voice, the smile, etc... you said it all already. I was totally Bensane too.
But just to keep track of Michael Emerson's hotness, it's 2016 now and he's still as hot as ever!

And now I'm sure that like Richard Alpert... he doesn't get old! :-O

Wow! Well, I'm a decade too late but what the heck? I'm Bensane as well! I'm glad I'm not alone! I'm a teen, and when we watched Lost my parents thought I was crazy! I hope at least one person sees this and agrees with me! I'm writing a fan fiction where I'm the same age as him, and I got caught by Danielle's trap too. So Locke and Sayid took me and "Henry Gale" back to the hatch and we got locked in the same room. Together. Just the two of us. You may figure out the rest! I got to go back to writing! Have a great day all you Bensaners!
